Our Programs
Reason for Debate has created programs catering to each stage of a student's life, each one specifically tailored to each stage of his/her development.

Elementary School
Introduction to public speaking is crucial at this beginning stage of education. Our elementary school programs focus on learning to address large audiences, including basic components of general speech. We also help familiarize students with debate formats and logical reasoning, in order to prepare them for the next level of debate.
Middle School
Debaters typically begin their first steps as real competitors at this point. RfD prepares middle school students to compete in tournaments, solidifying debate format and logical reasoning while teaching more advanced methods of refutation and argument-building.
High School
At the high school level, RfD trains debaters to take off and compete to win. RfD’s high school programs are debate teams crafted with the sole intention of attending tournaments and doing well at those tournaments. High school debaters are encouraged to volunteer in the elementary and middle school programs.
